The designers drew inspiration from Xi'an's profound historical and cultural background, aiming to create a space that reflects the prosperity of the Tang Dynasty. The original four-story villa was optimized to include a two-story basement, which serves as a leisure and entertainment area for the family.
The spatial layout of the villa is carefully designed to create separate yet interconnected spaces. On the first floor, the dining and living room are enclosed by a U-shaped courtyard, allowing for different views of the courtyard from various angles inside. The second floor is dedicated to rest, with a particular emphasis on the master bedroom, which exudes a sense of ritual.
One of the standout features of the Xi'an Qinhan New City Villa is the incorporation of traditional elements into the design. The magnificent architectural complex is aesthetically transformed into an abstract painting on the wall, showcasing the royal lordliness of the ancient imperial capital. Traditional patterns are also abstracted into screens, handles, and metal ornaments, adding a classic and quiet charm to the space.
The design team utilized stone flooring and beige wood veneer walls to set the tone of the overall space. The result is a harmonious blend of modern aesthetics and traditional elements, creating a unique and luxurious living environment.
The Xi'an Qinhan New City Villa project was completed from March 2019 to October 2019 by the design firm Shenzhen Bo Jing Design. The team, led by chief designers Andy, Kevin, Leo, Coco, and Allison, worked closely with the client, Zhongliang Real Estate Group, to bring this vision to life.
This exceptional design has been recognized for its creativity and ingenuity. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2020. This prestigious award honors designs that showcase technical and creative skills while contributing to quality of life improvements.
The Xi'an Qinhan New City Villa is a testament to the seamless integration of history and modernity. It stands as a symbol of Xi'an's rich cultural heritage and offers a luxurious and unique living experience for its residents.
